"Fons Púdica" "Fonte Pudia" "Empudian", are old names referring Ampudia, a village in the South-East of the province of Palencia in the area of Tierra de Campos. It is located at a Valley surrounded by moors. There are 719 inhabitants in the village.

    It has 116.52 km2 of extension and it is at 780 metres height above sea level.

    Ampudia is between Valladolid and Palencia. There is a ring road in Dueñas, a village in the highway which links these two cities. There is also a ring road in Torremormojón in the road that links Medina de Rioseco and Villamartín de Campos or you can also take the road from Villalba de los Alcores.
