FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS

    The festival in honor of the patron saint of Villabrágima is celebrated from the 1st to the 5th May and is called "The Cross". Every year, the festival begins in May with the traditional climbing of the boys who are going to do the military service. They go the "Era de la Vega".During these feasts there are lots of young and not so young people gatherings, being all of them hospitable ones who love welcoming people from other places.

    Another important feast in Villabrágima the first Sunday in October is "Nuestra Señora del Rosario" feast .

    Among the more representative traditions which are being recovered in this village, we should mention traditional dances of young people and of children too who are recovering dances of our grandparents, such as the traditional Castilian "jota"(Spanish dance and tune) although there are also "Sevillanas" groups.
